DTC* shade V1.0 - Disposable Matt Box / Lens shade

Printed out on 4 in numer A3 sheets of hard card or other suitable material. The outer frame on each page of the file should
measure 297mm x 420mm, that is A3.

Cut out according to the outer lines, run a blade across the inner lines to facilitate the fold without breaking the card.

Fold along the creases.

Include the suport as the first item to be glued in place. This gives sturdiness to the sturcture.

Glue the edges to get this shape . . . . make sure the tounges at the back line up. The rest of the angles will follow.

Repeat with all 4 sides.

And stick them together to form the box.

Last cut out, join and simply fit in the bellow printout with some glue to further sturdy and embelish the design.

The tounges flap over the original Panasonic lenshood, and a thick elasticband (black would have been nice) . . .

will be enough to hold the lot in place. Check for vignetting as the fit is tight and a sliding forward on full out may
start to show on the edge of frame.
